Thank you very much for Friday's course, David and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. We learned a lot in a short time, although I'm sure we scarcely scratched the surface of blacksmithing. Our partners were very impressed with the pokers we made!

We both would like to have another session in due course - I am developing ideas about a sculpture for the water-feature in my garden!

Many thanks, I look forward to seeing you and James at the Showground next month.

Best regards

Charles

James, the day was really great, thank you.

I did enjoy myself and you are a good teacher.

I can't fault anything - the positives: each of us had our own set of equipment, we didn't have to share; you were on hand for advice; the surroundings were just as I imagined; we each completed an item at the end of the course.

I could be back............ to make a straight poker......

Good luck

Thanks and Regards

Dear James

Thanks for the 1 day course last Saturday, I have to say that I really enjoyed the day. Your tuition was expertly done and made us all feel we had achieved by the end of the day, my poker now has a prime spot within the inglenook and used daily.
It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family and sample the lovely cakes and biscuits. Doing a job that is your hobby means you never have to work a day in your life, this looks so true for you and envious to others.
I would like to do more in the future, and recommend you to others.
Once again thanks

Yes it was a great day. As for feedback:-
 The format was very relaxed and you put us immediately at easy.
 I made a bad choice going to the pub and should have taken a packed lunch to have more time with everyone.
 The pace was a little slower than I envisaged, but that could just be me being impatient together with three students having demands on your time.
 In hindsight perhaps something slightly more challenging but I accept that it could put someone off if it is too challenging and they would go away disappointed.
 Would I do it again? Yes definitely.
 Costs were about right for a day’s experience, although coming back for more regularly would be a potentially expensive hobby.
 I did think it was going to be warmer in the forge and it might be worth warning students in the colder weather.
 Fantastic cakes / biscuits

I hope that the above is constructive.

As for the 26 Feb, it would be a useful tool but I will have to give it a miss.
 All the best
 Regards
 Julian
