LGBT Memorial

We are incredibly proud to have helped create the LGBT+ Armed Forces Community Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

This internationally important memorial was dedicated by King Charles on 27th October 2025 and the photos on this page were taken on this day.

For those of you keen to learn more about the LGBT+ Armed Forces Community Memorial there is a dedicated website.

The BBC produced a short documentary with interviews with veterans and there’s a couple of minutes at the end about the Memorial itself : I Was There, Booted Out by the Gay Ban: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002lm9h

As part of the making process the Office of Veterans Affairs shot some short films in the Forge with artist interviews:

James: https://youtube.com/shorts/H03Cebgx2l8

From the NMA opening there is YT piece featuring British Army veteran Leanne Quigley

There is also the BBC news coverage of the event:

And finally, coverage of the opening from the Hello! YT Channel

Again if there are any interesting pieces about the making of the Memorial please let me know and I can add them to the list.
